I narrow down redesign topics by referring back to user’s main tasks and the product mission. Conducted competitor/alternative analysis to help understand the use cases, be familiar with the design patterns and get inspirations for the redesign. Several items in the current accounts home page were confused for the existing users.
Some visitors will arrive via direct search through organic research and get into the CFNA website. Users often get lost on the website; they are hesitant to use CFNA credit cards due to a lack of education, especially the inconsistent and unclear website design. We connect in congregations with outreach-minded small groups and members, and use these connections to build relationships for servant events. Our intentional focus on linking CFNA with cross-cultural church workers is important to our ongoing work with immigrants and refugees. Christian Friends of New Americans is an outreach ministry to immigrants and refugees in the greater St. Louis area.
CFNA volunteers truly work as hands and feet of the body of Christ. They sacrifice their time and energy and use their experience and talents to help make disciples of all nations. Jen Janssen is one shining example of such a volunteer. For the past eight years, she has served as a teacher in our After School Tutoring program, along with her two children Ben and Addie. She now serves as a role model for other volunteers. Eliminate the guesswork and focus on getting back on the road.
