Good price for the coverage and so far after using over the winter it has performed well. I installed in the bathroom and used a standard baseboard thermostat without any floor sensors. Product works great and I really like the controller. I am doing another floor and will definitely be back. The contractor has not finished laying the tiles on it, so I don’t know how well it will heat. Would be much more convenient if they hooked together instead of having to run all the leads through a junction box. Would be a good idea to connect and let it run overnight to ensure heating is good and works well – before you put the tiles on. Each mat has wires pre-attached for ease of installation.
Understand that it uses a different base than the Solo, so it isn’t exactly plug & play. You will need to disconnect the wiring from the Solo base and connect it to the base of the new thermostat. It is amazing what a warm floor can do for your personal comfort. It is a highly efficient radiant heat film integrated in a waterproof anti-fracture membrane. Programming and control of any electric floor heating system. We used 4″x24″ floor tiles and ran the wire perpendicular to the pattern, 2″ wide and are getting nice warmth.
I have installed WarmlyYours in 3 of my rooms, cant see me switching to another vendor. My cable was too long, he offered me a huge discount seeing as I had purchased the wrong size . I ordered and picked it up the next day, i have never had a vendor call me to see if everything was OK and then provide a discount for something that I messed up. Installation is simple, as they do not require an adhesive and may be cut and turned at 90° or 180° to fit any room. This is very good on cold nights when you have to go to the bathroom and your floors are warm and even getting out of the shower on cold nights. I absolutely love this product and definitely would recommend it to everybody.
The box came with everything needed besides a few tools. We do find the heat takes longer to transfer up through the flooring than on our floating install ,to be expected, I’m sure. We have an older home with what I think is bad insulation and we are currently doing remodel room by room.
The heating cable is simply laid out on the floor in the area you want to heat prior to floor installation. The heating element is less than 1/8″ thick, so the rise in flooring height is negligible. My living room has a 20 foot ceiling and is a big room.
I also received follow up service after the install by my representative. There is no waiting required after installation so you can begin laying the flooring immediately. It works great it warms my feet very nicely going from the shower to my closet and also when I use the restroom since it is separated from the rest of my bathroom. I really want to install more in my other two bathrooms. No need to cover the full bathroom floor (as you don’t need to waste it under vanity/tub). It does not make the floor hot just cozy enough to be bare foot.
I got this to put in my bathroom underneath the hardwood floor. I really like the fact that I didn’t have to tear up the floor to install it. I acquired a digital thermostat and was able to hide the wiring behind some trim. Now I can have a heated warm floor in my bathroom on this cold wintery nights and anytime I want.

We did see there is a separate thermostat that can be bought to control the temp of the floor may be more suitable for some. This is exactly what I needed to turn my recently laid bathroom floor into an outstanding upgrade. The flooring had been installed a few months ago, however only took a few hours to pull up to be able to lay the Quiet Warmth Retrofit Radiant Heat Film underneath it.
